The first design sketches for Flora Dei.
The basic shapes are inspired by orchids. As I had been working on the ‘In Suspended Snimation’-series for some time now, it seemed only logical that ‘Flora’ would also be part of that series, and I sketched it into a metal frame. (middle right)
A detail of the sketch shows a cut through diagram of the flower, superimposed on the dimensions of a plywood board for maximum efficiency of use.
