A working sketch for ‘Sol’ (working title was ‘Discus’)

It shows dimensions, gold leaf application, the hollow interior and lead filling. I was still playing around with the idea of the object lying in the ground, spinning excentrically. At this stage the stainless steel axle and ball bearings were not yet planned, as was the covering of the ‘dark’side with black pelt.
